Here is a text of the message accompanying the Annotated Editorial<\/p>\n<div>\n<i>Mayor Abed,<o:p><\/o:p><\/i><\/div>\n<div>\n<i>I had planned to attend the City Council meeting today to<br \/>\nspeak on public comment but was called away to a family emergency.&nbsp;<br \/>\nHowever, I wanted to respond to your strong statements about the accuracy of<br \/>\nthe OpEd my neighbor and I had published in the San Diego Union Tribune.&nbsp;<br \/>\nYou stated that our community editorial was &#8220;50 to 60%&#8221; false,<br \/>\nmisleading, and inaccurate. &nbsp; Since you never agreed to any of our<br \/>\nrequests to meet with you and did not ask us any questions when we presented,<br \/>\nwe don&#8217;t know what you think is incorrect.
